A young black bear seen on the UC Davis campus has been captured and released back into the wild, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) said Tuesday. The bear was first spotted near the campus Arboretum before dawn, according to the CDFW. The bear was found in a tree near the Hyatt Place hotel, tranquilized and returned to the wild.
