U.S. attempting to file secret motion in case against Omar Ameen
New information in the extradition case of Omar Ameen, the Iraqi national (living in Sacramento as a refugee) charged with the murder of an Iraqi police officer on behalf of ISIS in 2014. The U.S. is attempting to file a secret motion in the case, as well as an order granting that motion, without Ameen’s defense team, or the public, being able to see it, citing “national security” concerns.
