Sierra Canyon wins second straight CIF State Championship in rematch with Sheldon
For the second straight season, the Sheldon Huskies fall to Sierra Canyon in the CIF Boys Open Division State Championship, as the Timberwolves win in dominant fashion 76-52 on Saturday night at Golden 1 Center.
The Huskies had a tough night shooting, as Marcus Bagley led Sheldon with 17 points, but Sierra Canyon's Kenyon Martin Jr. scored a game-high 23 points, and the Timberwolves used a 28-14 second quarter to put enough distance between the opposition en route to their state title.
