Sheldon Huskies get rematch with Sierra Canyon Trailblazers in state championship
In a rematch of last year's CIF Open Division State Championship, the Sheldon Huskies, a public school in South Sacramento, will once again prepare to face the nation's top ranked team , a private school from Chatsworth, the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, which features the sons of former NBA stars Scottie Pippen and Kenyon Martin.
Sierra Canyon defeated Sheldon 75-62 last season for the Open Division championship. This year's state title tips off at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Golden 1 Center.
