ELK GROVE, Calif. — Elk Grove police are investigating after a pickup truck crashed into a dentist's office.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, it happened on Franklin Boulevard and Laguna Park Drive. Police say the truck was going southbound on Franklin when it went off the road and into a building: Laguna Park Dentistry.
A person inside the dentist's office was hit by the vehicle and pinned between it and debris from the crash.
The Cosumnes Fire Department responded and freed the person who was pinned before they were taken to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and Franklin Boulevard has reopened.
