Semi-truck carrying lemons catches fire on Northbound Business 80

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two lanes of Business 80 were shut down Wednesday after a big rig caught fire. 

The semi-truck was filled with lemons when it was engulfed in flames just after 10 a.m., according to a tweet from the Sacramento Fire Department. 

All lanes of Northbound Business 80, just West of Arden Way, were shut down while crews worked to put out the fire and clear the scene. As of 11:30 a.m., one of the lanes was reopened, while the second remains closed, according to a tweet from Caltrans District 3. 

No one was injured in the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
