COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — "Femininomenon" superstar and self-proclaimed "Midwest Princess," Chappell Roan, found a way to relax before her concert in Council Bluffs Thursday evening through a crossover that saw Iowa ARL staff bring kittens to hang out before the show.

The ARL says its staff members had a great time with the event, hanging out and talking about the rescue league's mission. They credit First Fleet Concerts for making the event possible through an invite and say they are very happy they could drop by.

"We loved being able to bring smiles to everyone's faces," the organization said in a Facebook post.

The league even said that the kittens had so much fun with the Missouri-born popstar that they didn't want to leave.
