Who is Chance Comanche? Former Stockton Kings player facing murder charge

Comanche was arrested Friday and was then released by the Stockton Kings.

LAS VEGAS — A now former player for the Stockton Kings was arrested in connection to a kidnapping-turned-murder investigation, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Marayna Rodger was reported missing on Dec. 7. According to police, she was planning to meet her friend, 19-year-old Sakari Harnden, and her boyfriend, Comanche.

Since the planned meeting, police said Rodgers had not been seen or heard from. Investigators suspected foul play and arrested Harnden and Comanche on suspicion of kidnapping.

Police said Rodger's remains were found in a Nevada desert and that they plan to charge both suspects with open murder.

Comanche, 27, was arrested in Sacramento and is currently in the county jail with no bail. His next court date is expected on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
