MARYSVILLE, Calif. — Police have launched an investigation after a woman's body was found near the side of the road in Marysville.
The Yuba County Sheriff's Office said the body was reported found around the 1700 block of Simpson Lane just after 2:38 p.m. The body was only described as female.
Few details surrounding the death have been released, but deputies are investigating it as a suspicious death. No information regarding what about the death is suspicious has been released.
