STOCKTON, Calif. — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Stockton, Wednesday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. near E. March Lane and Hillsboro Way, a neighborhood located just east of the Weberstown Mall.
Officers were called out to a shooting report in the area, and when they arrived they found the victim, only identified as an adult man, lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. So far, police say they have no information regarding a suspect or suspects and there is no known motive.
