SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were shot and killed in south Natomas Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.
Sacramento Police Department officers went to the 100 Block of River Run Circle just after 1 p.m. about a medical aid call. Officers forced their way into the home and found a man and woman with at least one gunshot wound each.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene and a gun was recovered at the home.
Officials are investigating and say there is no threat to the public at this time but have not said if they're looking for a suspect.
