MODESTO, Calif. — Sunday Update:
Modesto Police arrested a child's mother on suspicion of murder after finding the child dead inside an apartment unit Saturday.
Police have released few additional details about the homicide.

A girl was found dead in a Modesto apartment Saturday afternoon, according to the Modesto Police Department.
Officials say they were called to the Crown Ridge Apartments on Scenic Drive around 12:47 p.m. about a potential assault. Once on scene, officers found a minor dead. They are not releasing how old she is or how she died at this time.
A woman was arrested and officials say there are no outstanding suspects related to the minors death. It is unclear what happened.
An investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time.
