SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A woman was shot and killed Friday evening, according to Sacramento Police Department officials.
The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of 14th Avenue. She was taken to the hospital with what officials originally believed to be at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound, but she later died, according to police.
An investigation is underway. Police say no arrests have been made and there is no suspect information available at this time.
