Emotional reunion for family after Auburn father detained by ICE released on bond

Isaias Mosqueda Cisneros, who has been in the U.S. for roughly 20 years, was detained in early April while on his way to a landscaping job.

The Auburn father detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement last month was reunited with his family Thursday night after being released on bond from the Yuba County Jail.

Isaias Mosqueda Cisneros, who has been in the U.S. for roughly 20 years, was detained in early April while on his way to a landscaping job.

The community rallied around the undocumented father of three, raising more than $4,000 through GoFundMe.

In addition to the community support, the family sold their horse and held a yard sale to help pay for Cisneros' legal feels and $2,000 bond.

Cisneros was greeted by his wife, mother, young children, siblings and nieces Thursday night.

"We missed him, we felt like he wasn't there, but we always prayed for him so he would come out and be with us," Cisneros' teenage son Yoni said. "We all love him. Our whole family loves him too."

While Cisneros is home with his family, he was only released on bond. He has court appearances still in San Francisco and will continue to fight his case.

Cisneros's brother, who is a citizen, said he applied for citizenship in the early 2000's but is still waiting for his papers to be approved.

ICE did not immediately respond to ABC10's request for a statement.
