CERES, Calif. — One person is in the hospital after a collision between a bicyclist and a car Wednesday afternoon in Ceres.

The Ceres Police Department said the collision was reported around 3 p.m. along Mitchell Road, north of Hatch Road.

The bicyclist, a 59-year-old man, had major injuries when police arrived. He was treated by first responders until being taken to the hospital in critical condition.
