Here's a list of the 2024 NFL draft picks by team

Day two of the NFL draft starts Friday at 4 p.m. with teams making selections in rounds two and three.

CALIFORNIA, USA — Some moving and shaking happened during the first round of the 2024 NFL draft with some teams moving up in the pick order and others not making a first-round selection at all.

For California NFL teams, the Los Angeles Chargers kicked it off by choosing Joe Alt, an offensive tackle out of Notre Dame. Then, the Los Angeles Rams chose Jared Verse, an edge rusher from Florida State. The San Francisco 49ers rounded out the night for California teams by selecting Ricky Pearsall, a wide receiver out of Florida.

Sacramento native Laiatu Latu was drafted 15th overall by the Indianapolis Colts. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School in Carmichael.

While the night was a big success for teams getting their top prospects, the Buffalo Bills traded out of the first round in the 2024 NFL draft. It's the second time in Brandon Bean's seven drafts as the general manager the Bills didn't make a first-round pick. Buffalo will make its first pick Friday in the second round with the 33rd pick overall among other spot advancements.
