Roller rink to open in downtown Sacramento

The rink will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 2-9 p.m. and Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. starting in June.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A roller rink is set to open at the end of June in downtown Sacramento.

It'll be located at Ali Youssefi Square. Public roller skating sessions will be available starting June 28 until September 17.

"Our incredible city deserves such an exciting addition, especially in an area that has often felt neglected. We envision this roller rink becoming a source of pride for our community, bringing us closer together as we embrace all the wonderful activities our city has to offer," Damian Lynch, Co-owner of HOF, said in a statement. "We can't wait to welcome thousands of attendees throughout the summer, and our goal is to establish a successful model for this inaugural event, ensuring that the fun continues for many summers to come."

The rink will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 2-9 p.m. and Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

"Now more than ever, it is important for city centers to invest in their communities," Michael Ault, Executive Director of Downtown Sacramento Partnership, said in a statement.

It will cost $10 for children six and under, and $20 for regular admission. Admission includes skate rental. Find more information HERE.
