SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A fire in a Target was set on purpose, according to Sacramento Metro Fire crews.

The fire was in the paper products aisle at the Target on Madison Avenue and had been mostly put out by employees by the time fire fighters got to the scene.

Officials say the fire was intentionally set to be a distraction while items were being stolen.

A suspect is in custody and officials say this isn't the first time such a thing has happened recently.

No further information is available at this time.
