‘Whose Line?’ tour with original cast members heads to Harris Center in Folsom

“Whose Live Anyway?” is a 90-minute comedy and music show starring Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops and Jeff Davis visiting Folsom in August.

FOLSOM, Calif. — A live tour of an improvisation comedy troupe including cast members from "Whose Line is it Anyway?" is heading to Folsom’s Harris Center.

"Whose Live Anyway?" is a 90-minute comedy and music show starring Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops and Jeff Davis, who are all cast members from the original American television series. The tour will visit Folsom on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and Wednesday, Aug. 21; both shows start at 7:30 p.m.

Audience participation is key to the show, according to the event center. Musical direction in the show is provided by Bob Derkach.

Tickets start at $66 and cap at $82, according to the Harris Center website.

The tour’s fourth and final cast member, Joel Murray, is the younger brother of Bill Murray. His acting credits include voicing Don, the president of fraternity Oozma Kappa in 2013’s “Monsters University,” and occasionally starring as senior copywriter Fred Rumsen on “Mad Men” from 2007 to 2014.

Stiles was a regular on over 200 episodes of “Whose Line?” when it aired on ABC from 1998 to 2007; he assumed a regular role again in just under 200 episodes when it was revived on the CW Network from 2013 to 2024.

Proops and Davis appeared as recurring cast members on both versions of the show. Stiles and Proops were prominently featured in the British version of “Whose Line?” that aired from 1988 to 1999.

A “Whose Live?” tour was scheduled to stop by the Harris Center in June 2020, but the event was canceled due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
