Through Aug. 17, those affected by the Carr, River and Ranch wildfires -- including relief workers -- can get free housing from more than 200 participating Airbnb hosts in the region.
The short-term rental company is encouraging hosts to open their homes and provide free accommodations to those temporarily displaced by the wildfires, as well as evacuees and relief workers.
