NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A woman was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the leg in North Highlands Friday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
Law enforcement officials are investigating what exactly happened and will be on scene at the Watt Avenue and Elkhorn Boulevard intersection. The stabbing happened around 5 p.m.
The woman's condition is unknown at this time and no further information is available.
