ROSEVILLE, Calif. — A popular ice cream shop is opening a new location in Roseville this Friday, Oct. 27.

Salt & Straw will bring its unique flavors to the Fountains at Roseville.

"We're thrilled to become a part of the Fountains at Roseville community. Following the warm reception we received when we opened Ice Blocks in Sacramento last year, we've had numerous requests to introduce our ice cream to more communities in the region," co-founder Kim Malek said in a statement. "This vibrant area is brimming with fantastic entertainment and dining options, and our ice cream will be a delightful complement. We're eagerly looking forward to meeting our new neighbors and being a part of memories for generations to come.”

Salt & Straw will be offering its October-themed flavors including the great candycopia, jack o'lantern pumpkin bread, and blackberry tamales as well as others.

People under 16-years-old will get a free scoop if they go to the new Roseville location on Halloween.

Starting Nov. 3, Salt & Straw will begin offering its Thanksgiving-themed flavors including pumpkin and gingersnap pie, cheesy potato casserole, and turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce, as well as others.

Salt & Straw is located at 1005 Galleria Boulevard, Suite 110. There is another location in Sacramento at 1710 R Street.
