The Modesto Police Department has made a second arrest in a homicide which occurred on Aug. 12.
The incident happened a convenience store on 5th Street in Modesto when 30-year-old Domonique Lewis was shot to death, police said.
Initially, on Aug. 15, detectives arrested 20-year-old Angel Contreras in connection with the case. On Aug. 21, an additional suspect, 29-year-old Junior Ramiro Suarez, was arrested.
The investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
