STOCKTON, Calif. — A 60-year-old woman is dead after a car allegedly hit her while walking on a Stockton street Saturday evening.
The crash happened around 5:46 p.m. Saturday near El Dorado and Vine Streets. Police say the woman was walking on El Dorado Street when the car hit her.
Medics took her to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to investigators, the driver of the car involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
