21-year-old killed in suspected DUI crash in Ceres

Police say the other driver showed signs of intoxication and was ultimately arrested for DUI.

CERES, Calif. — A 21-year-old woman was killed Thursday in a suspected DUI crash in Ceres.

According to the Ceres Police Department, it happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Hatch Road and Faith Home Road.

Upon arrival, police found a 21-year-old from Hughson had been ejected from her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, 31-year-old Dylan Wilson of Empire, stayed at the scene. Police say Wilson displayed objective signs of intoxication and was arrested for driving under the influence.

Wilson was booked into the Public Safety Center on suspicion of DUI resulting in injury or death and second-degree murder.
