NBA dunks of the week: Aaron Gordon holds the throne

From all of the rim-rattling, posterizing throw downs that we've witnessed throughout the week of NBA action, these five dunks were the ones we liked the best, earning a spot in our NBA Dunks of the Week.

5. Nerlens Noel • one-handed alley-oop

In a game between the Eastern Conference's bottom feeders, Nerlens Noel momentarily sparked to an otherwise dull matchup with this vicious one-handed catch and finish.

4. Jabari Parker • over Rudy Gobert

Rudy Gobert is one of the NBA's top rim protectors, but even he knew that there was no stopping Jabari Parker once he began his path toward the basket.

3. Hassan Whiteside • over Tyler Hansbrough

Once Hassan Whiteside went airborne and outstretched his 7-7 wingspan, all hope for a block from Tyler Hansbrough went out the window.

2. Russell Westbrook • over Jerami Grant

Few point guards in the history of the NBA have attacked the rim with a ferocity equal to Russell Westbrook. Next time, Jerami Grant, we suggest getting out of the way.

1. Aaron Gordon • two-handed reverse alley-oop

Aaron Gordon and highlight-reel dunks go together like peanut butter and jelly. Like Popeye and spinach. Like milk and cookies. This week, the NBA Dunk Contest runner-up was at it again, and at this point, are you even surprised?
