ID=12713471KUSA - A grieving Ohio father posted a simple request on REDDIT.com asking for someone to Photoshop a picture of his daughter without the tubes that she had been on all of her brief life.

"My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?" Nathan Steffel wrote.

Steffel wanted to remember his daughter, Sophia, who died at 6 weeks old on July 10 from a liver tumor. She had spent her entire life in the hospital.

What happened next was an outpouring from people on the social networking site.

Bloggers took to Photoshop and sent the family pictures of their daughter without the tubes.

Steffel responded on the website, "This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was as nice picture. What I received as a long of love and support from a bunch of strangers."
