Undefeated Woodland Christian High School football team looks to win state championship Saturday

The Woodland Christian High School Cardinals take on the Banning High School Pilots from Wilmington in the California Division 5-A title game.

TORRANCE, Calif. — The Woodland Christian High School football team is playing for the state championship Saturday.

The undefeated Woodland Christian High School Cardinals take on the Banning High School Pilots from Wilmington in the California Division 5-A title game at 3 p.m. on the campus of El Camino College in Torrance.

Banning's record is 9-6.

Woodland Christian High School advanced to the state title game by beating the Orland High School Trojans 28-0.
