RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a car accident in Rancho Cordova Friday, according to officials.

The crash happened in the 11000 block of Olson Drive around 6 p.m., according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say two cars crashed head-on.

Sacramento Metro Fire crews are on scene and say two people were taken to the hospital.

No other information is known at this time.
