SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Bradshaw Animal Shelter has nearly 700 kittens in foster care right now. That is a lot of mouths to feed and the animal shelter is asking anyone who can help to please donate.
The animal shelter posted their plea on Facebook Monday, saying they are in "desperate need" of kitten formula and Miracle Nipples to feed the young cats. Most of the fostered kittens are currently being feed Fox Valley kitten formula, which sells for $13.70 on Amazon for 12 oz. Miracle Nipples cost around $34 for a pack of 6 on Amazon.
If you would like to help, donations can be sent to the shelter at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento, Ca. 95827.
If you are interested in becoming a foster parent with the shelter, particularly to one of their bottle-fed kittens, contact Violet Pina at pinav@saccounty.net or Dallas Butterfield at butterfieldd@saccounty.net
Front Street Animal Shelter is launching a new program called a Doggie Day Out. You can take a shelter dog out for an adventure, like a coffee date, some shopping, or to the park. They hope the program leads to more adoptions.
