LODI, Calif. — Deputies have launched an investigation after a person was shot in the unincorporated area of Lodi.
A spokesperson for the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was reported just before 5 p.m. in the area of East Armstrong Road.
Deputies arrived and found a person who had suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. They were taken a hospital.
Few details surrounding the shooting have been released at this time, but deputies said they don't believe there's a threat to the community.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
