SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Mattie Nicholson, 56, was identified as the woman killed in a Sacramento hit-and-run.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office confirmed Nicholson's identity with ABC10 Thursday.
According to Sacramento Police Department, Nicholson was hit by a car in the area of Freeport Boulevard and Potrero Way on Jan. 9. Police believe she might have been on her bike at the time of the crash. She ultimately died from her injuries.
The car involved took off, but police said they have since identified it as as 2004 GMC Envoy.
