STOCKTON, Calif. — One person is dead and another person is in the hospital after a shooting in Stockton Sunday afternoon.
The Stockton Police Department said the shooting was reported in the area of South Grant Street and East Clay Street just after 3:40 p.m.
Arriving officers found a man, 31, and a woman, 32, both with gunshot wounds.
The woman died from her injuries, but the man is expected to survive.
