STOCKTON, Calif — You’ve probably seen it online, heard if from a friend or maybe experienced it for yourself at the store. Personal care items like toilet paper and baby wipes are out of stock in many stores.

Where can you get them? Well, if it is baby care items you are looking for, a Pediatrician at Sutter Health in Stockton is giving them away free.

From 12:15 to 1 p.m. at 2505 West Hammer Lane, Dr. Krystle Balduzzi is providing needy parents with donated baby essentials. (Check out Dr. Balduzzi’s Facebook page for updates.)

"We have a nice driveway," Dr. Balduzzi said. "They literally drive up, roll their window down, I hand them stuff, they say 'Thank you' and go on their way."

With many store shelves empty with baby essentials, many of Balduzzi’s patients were going to her for help.

In her mind, the solution was simple — she started collecting what little supplies she had, then she asked people on Facebook to donate what they could.

"In general, I don't always see the most needy families, but it doesn't matter right now," Balduzzi said. "Everyone is needy and they need these things."

Supplies are limited, but parents can pick up or drop off donations in the parking lot of Sutter Health in Stockton every day.
