2 suspects sought after attempted kidnapping of woman in Davis

A 23-year-old victim told police she had been assaulted by two suspects in a green Mustang, authorities said.

Davis Police are searching for two suspects after an attempted kidnapping of a woman early Saturday morning.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers with the Davis Police Department were dispatched to the area around the Hallmark Inn regarding an attempted kidnapping.

Upon arrival, a 23-year-old victim told police she had been assaulted by two suspects in a green Mustang, authorities said.

The victim told police she was walking southbound on G Street when the suspect vehicle pulled up to her. One suspect exited the car and grabbed the victim and told her to go with them. The victim fought the suspect off and he got back into the vehicle, police said.

However, as the victim was walking away from the area, the suspects struck her with their car. She suffered minor injuries after being hit.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 20s. He’s about 6-feet tall and has a slim build. He was wearing a dark color hat, burgundy t-shirt and jeans during the incident.

The other suspect was a Hispanic male adult in his 20s with black hair.
