WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Another earthquake jolted the Bay Area Tuesday evening. The United States Geological Survey recorded this one at a magnitude 3.4.
The earthquake happened nearest to the areas of Pleasant Hill, Concord, and Walnut Creek.
On Monday night, an earthquake rattled people in the same nearby communities, however, Monday's earthquake was recorded at a 4.5 magnitude.
The earthquake was also felt by operators with Bay Area Regional Transit. Trains are currently running at reduced speeds to complete track inspections as a result. Riders should expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes throughout the BART system.
