Some Northern California schools reopen Tuesday after outages | Updates

Here's a list of schools in Northern California that delayed classes Monday due to weather and outages.

Some schools in Northern California are canceling classes due to extreme weather impacts and power outages.

Some districts only have some school campuses closed as opposed to the entire district. Others are opting for a later start to the school day.

Here's a complete list:

Sacramento City Unified School District high schools reopening

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) workers have been able to restore power to New Tech and West Campus high schools, according to the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD)

The two schools will reopen Tuesday after not holding classes Monday due to power outages, district officials said.

All SCUSD will be open and operating with their normal Tuesday schedules, officials said.

Grass Valley School District

Rocklin Unified School District

  • Rocklin Unified School District said Antelope Creek Elementary, Sierra Elementary Elementary, Rocklin Elementary, and Spring View Middle School are closed on Monday, Feb. 5 due to power outages. All other schools will be open for a full school day.

Sacramento City Unified School District

Sierra College

  • Sierra College canceled all classes and closed all campuses on Monday, Feb. 5 due to weather and power outages.

Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District

Twin Rivers Unified School District

  • Twin Rivers Unified School District said some schools will have a minimum day schedule including Del Paso Heights Elementary (Dismissal time: 12:57 p.m.), Foothill High School (Dismissal time: 1:22 p.m.), Foothill Ranch Middle School (Dismissal time: 12:52 p.m.), Westside Elem and WPCS-Westside (Dismissal time: 1:12 p.m.), and Woodridge (Dismissal time: 1:12 p.m.

Western Placer Unified School District

  • Western Placer Unified School District said Coppin Elementary, Creekside Oaks Elementary, First Street Elementary, Glen Edwards Middle, Lincoln High, Phoenix High/ATLAS and Sheridan Elementary will be closed Monday, Feb. 5 due to power outages. All other schools will be open.

Yuba College

  • Yuba College will be closed Monday, Feb. 5 due to widespread power outages in Yuba and Sutter counties.
