Dozens of storage units damaged in Citrus Heights fire

In an early estimate, the fire district said about 70 to 80 units were damaged in the fire.

CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. — A fire in Citrus Heights damaged dozens of storage units Tuesday.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District responded to a fire around 11:50 p.m. at CubeSmart Self Storage along Greenback Lane. It's across the street from San Juan High School.

In an early estimate, the fire district said about 70 to 80 units were damaged in the fire. The damages range from minor to major.

No one was injured in the fire and the cause is under investigation.
