El Dorado County election results: Here’s where races stand so far

The first wave of election results arrives around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. — Election Day is here for El Dorado County. The March 5 primary election could decide or narrow down multiple El Dorado County races, including:

  • El Dorado County | District 1 Board of Supervisors seat
  • El Dorado County | District 2 Board of Supervisors seat
  • El Dorado County | District 3 Board of Supervisors seat

Initial results will be posted by 8:15 p.m. on election night, according to Bill O’Neill, an El Dorado County spokesman. The second wave of results is expected to come in around 9:15 p.m. and the third at 10 p.m.

However, the second and third release times may be adjusted depending on when the ballots get back to the county office for counting, he said.

► Key Dates: According to the California Secretary of State’s office, vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by March 5 and arrive at county elections offices by March 12. The last day for county election officials to certify the primary election results is April 4.
