Cosumnes River College opening first science building in Elk Grove

Los Rios Community College officials announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony next month for the 'Elk Grove Center Phase II Building'.

ELK GROVE, Calif. — Cosumnes River College is celebrating its first science facility at the Elk Grove student-centered outreach location.

'Elk Grove Center Phase II Building' is set to support Los Rios Community College students with biology, chemistry and anatomy instructional laboratories — as well as support and interaction spaces. Total space includes:

  • 7,200 square feet of labs
  • 3,000 square feet of classrooms
  • 2,600 square feet of student interaction space

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for May 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the Elk Grove Center on 10051 Big Horn Blvd.
