5th annual Taco Throwdown happening in Roseville

The all-you-can-eat-and-drink event lasts until 5 p.m. Saturday.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — The 5th annual Taco Throwdown is happening this weekend in Roseville.

It's a 21+ fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Roseville Foundation starting noon Saturday at @the Grounds. The all-you-can-eat-and-drink event lasts until 5 p.m.

Competitors include Brickyard Kitchen and Bar, Doña Mari Cocinita, West Coast Taco Bar, JDM Eats and Bennett's. There will also be a dessert vendor, Twisted Dough, at the event with funnel cake offerings.

The Monk's Cellar, Mosa Mimosa, Rebellion Brewing Co., Brewbilt Brewing, 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Granite Bay Brewing Co. will have beer and hard cider at the event. Hill Top Oaks Winery, Mount Saint Joseph Wines, Vino Noceto and Scott Harvey Wines are the wineries at the event.

Stagefrite will be performing at the event.

Tickets are $60 and go up to $70 at the door. Designated driver tickets are $50 and go up to $60 at the door. This ticket does not include alcohol. VIP tickets are $120 and $150 at the door. Parking is $10 cash only at @the Grounds.

Cornhole and other games will be offered at the event, according to the list of frequently asked questions on the Taco Throwdown website.
