Abandoned church in Sacramento catches fire for third time in a month

The Sacramento Fire Department told ABC10 there was a fire on the second floor of the building.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An abandoned church caught fire Wednesday in Sacramento, making it the third fire at the location in a month, according to the Sacramento Fire Department.

The church is located in the 3900 block of Marysville Boulevard and the fire started around noon. The fire department said the fire was on the second floor of the building and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Northbound Marysville Boulevard is blocked off while the fire is under investigation.
