No Sol Blume festival for 2024

The announcement comes after festival goers shared concerns over the lack of information for the festival, which was previously scheduled for May 2.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sol Blume will be postponed to 2025, festival organizers announced Friday.

The announcement comes after festival goers shared concerns over the lack of information for the festival, which was previously scheduled for May 2.

The festival is rescheduled for August 15 – 17, 2025. The festival will permanently move to late summer to avoid future weather-related setbacks, according to organizers.

"For the second year in a row, Sol Blume has faced challenges that require us to make a significant change to the festival as we know it," festival organizers wrote in a statement. "Mother nature has once again caused commotion and created conditions at the festival site that render it unsafe to build on. Although the park is no longer flooded, the damage remains."

People who purchased passes in 2024 can automatically attend the rescheduled festival date in 2025. They will also get an automatic pass upgrade to the next tier of passes. So, GA passes will be upgraded to GA+ passes, GA+ passes will be upgraded to VIP passes and VIP passes will be upgraded to Returnable VIP passes.

Organizers said people will see the upgrade in their accounts today and no action is required.

People can also request a refund starting April 22 at noon. Sol Blume will send an email with a refund request link. The refund window will be open until May 17, 2024. Returnable pass holders will have the refund window extended to August 12, 2025.

It's unclear if the new date will impact the lineup for the festival. Find more information HERE.
