Police serve search warrant related to vandalism investigation near South Sacramento

The roadways were temporarily closed during the investigation but has since been reopened.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Detroit Boulevard was temporarily closed near Meadowview Road on Monday.

A police presence was in the area between Laurie Way and Reel Circle. A spokesperson for the department said police were serving a search warrant related to an ongoing felony vandalism investigation at a home along the 7600 block of Detroit Boulevard.

Police said there was no one in the home.

🚨Traffic Advisory: Detroit Blvd. is closed (near Meadowview Rd. -South Sacramento) between Laurie Wy.- Reel Circle due to police activity.
