STOCKTON, Calif. — A man was found shot dead in a car parked in south Stockton Saturday afternoon, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The man, roughly 35 years old, was pronounced dead in the area of East Jackson Street and South Wilson Way after police were called to the area on a welfare check. Police say the man was slumped over in a vehicle, resulting in someone requesting they check on him.
The man was found with a gunshot wound, but it's currently unclear who shot him. No other information is available at this time.
At least two other shootings happened in Stockton Saturday, one fatal and the other possibly injuring two. Police are still investigating all three shootings.
