Stockton motorcycle crash leaves 2 hurt

According to police, both people injured were riding on a motorcycle.

STOCKTON, Calif. — A Sunday morning crash left the passenger and driver of a motorcycle hurt, Stockton Police said.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the crash was reported around 3:45 a.m. at El Dorado Street and Ponce De Leon Avenue. Investigators say a motorcycle crashed into a parked car.

Medics took a 41-year-old man and an adult woman to a hospital. Police believe both were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

The man's injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Officers say the woman, believed to be the passenger, is in critical but stable condition.

Investigators are looking into what caused the crash and whether DUI played a factor. El Dorado Street between Los Felis Avenue and Ponce De Leon Avenue was blocked off throughout the morning as police investigated the scene.
