Stockton's annual Hmong New Year Festival to be held at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds

The two-day event kicks off in South Stockton Saturday.

STOCKTON, Calif. — From food to music, the sights, sounds and tastes of the Hmong culture will be returning to Stockton this weekend. 

Lao Family Community Empowerment Inc. plans to hold its annual two-day Hmong New Year Festival Saturday and Sunday. The festival, which will be open both days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., is slated to feature cultural performances, music, sports tournaments, merchants, food and more. 

Here's what you need to know:

Location

  • San Joaquin County Fairgrounds at 1658 Airport Way, Stockton

Ticket Prices

  • $5 for people between the ages of 6 and 65
  • Free for children ages 0-5
  • Free for people older than 66 with an ID
  • Free for members of the military and veterans with an ID

Parking

  • $5 for all cars
