TURLOCK, Calif. — Turlock police are investigating a double shooting that left a 19-year-old dead and another person hurt Tuesday evening, according to officials.
The Turlock Police Department says they are investigating in the 700 block of Wayside Drive and have blocked off roads in the area. Wayside Drive is closed between Kenwood Avenue and N. Olive Avenue with no current estimated time of reopening.
Police say one person was pronounced dead and another was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
While they're still investigating, police say they believe one suspect is outstanding and the shooting appears to be isolated.
No other information is available at this time.
People are advised by police to avoid the area.
