Pedestrian killed in Woodland hit-and-run on freeway ramp

California Highway Patrol received reports of a crash Tuesday and found a pedestrian dead.

WOODLAND, Calif. — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run Tuesday in Woodland, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP received reports of a crash near Highway 113 and Main Street and found a pedestrian had been hit by a car that left the area.

The pedestrian died and it's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. The person's identity wasn't released. CHP officers are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Woodland CHP at (530) 702-6250.
