HERSHEY, Pa. — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed Hershey Bear Teddy Bear Toss Bobblehead on Friday, March 8.
The special edition bobblehead is being produced exclusively by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the American Hockey League.
Standing on an ice-textured base, the bobblehead features the Hershey Bears' mascot Coco the Bear holding a bobbling teddy bear with teddy bears covering the ice-textured base. Each bobblehead is individually numbered from 1 through 2,024 and is only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store.
The Hershey Bears have collected 464,107 stuffed toys since the inception of the annual Teddy Bear Toss in 2001.
In the latest Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday, Jan. 7, at GIANT Center, Bogdan Trineyev sent the fur flying with his goal 4 minutes, 15 seconds into the second period against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. A record 75,599 stuffed toys were collected, breaking the previous record of 67,309 set in 2023.
The stuffed animals were donated to more than 35 local charities as part of the club's Hershey Bears Cares program.
